A quaint Colorado mountain town, Breckenridge has maintained some hints of its origins as a wild gold mining history. The ski resort first opened in 1961 and has grown from a 1 chairlift mountain to its present large size and 29 lifts.

Breckenridge resort is an ideal choice for families, particularly with its abundance and range of condo accommodation available. A new feature is the 2500ft long 'Gold Runner Coaster' an elevated rollercoaster at the base of Peak 8 to provide some extra thrills.
